Booking-Payment
Confirmation
50% of the rent is required in advance in order to confirm the booking.
The balance of the rent will be paid upon your arrival as well as the security deposit (to the owner).
Charges
Telephone:
Telephone is never included in the rental price. Telephone calls must be paid according to the phone usage.
Electricity and gas:
Weekly rentals : Electricity and gas are included in the rent.
Monthly rentals : Electricity, gas and telephone are not included in the rent.
Security Deposit
The security deposit is given to the owner upon your arrival at the apartment.
The security deposit is, of course, returned to you at the end of your stay, if no damages have been made and if the apartment is left in clean condition.
Up to 1 month rental : the security deposit is equal to the rent
Between 1 to 5 month rental : the security deposit is equal to 1 month rent.
For 5 months rental and more : the security deposit is equal to 2 months rent.
Cancellation Policy- Insurance
Any cancellation notification must be received by Novela Paris in a written document.
No payments made by the client are refundable.
There are no refunds under any circumstances. Clients are strongly urged to subscribe cancellation insurance when booking.
If the confirmed apartment should be unavailable for any reason beyond Novela Paris control, Novela Paris reserves the right to substitute an alternative property of equal or higher value. Should alternative property be unavailable, the liability of Novela Paris shall cease upon return to the client of the whole amount paid by the client to Novela Paris.
Damages and Charges
Clients are required to act in a responsible manner.
The client is responsible for making sure that the property is left upon departure in the same general condition and repair as upon arrival. Novela Paris reserves the right to recover from clients the cost of any loss or damage caused by a failure to respect the property, fixtures, or fittings.
Novela Paris reserves the right to recover from clients the cost of excessive use of the telephone. Clients are kindly requested to use their credit cards for long-distance calls
Limitation of Liability- Interpretation and Disputes
The liability of Novela Paris or its agents shall be limited to the amount of any rentals and deposits paid. In no event shall Novela Paris or its agents be liable for consequential damages.
If any problems occur during tenancy they should first be reported to the designated local representative. Should a problem persist or be unsatisfactorily resolved from tenant's viewpoint, it should then be reported immediately, if possible, and under any circumstances, no later than within 72 hours to Novela Paris in Paris.
Such complaints must also be followed up with written details by tenant to Novela Paris in Paris. This agreement shall be interpreted according to the laws of France.
This agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties, and shall not be modified, except in writing.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival
You will be welcomed at the apartment by the owner or representative person of the owner.
To give you the best service you deserve, we invite you to give us the approximate time of your arrival at the apartment, by sending your flight or train schedule.
Departure
You will be attended at your departure by the owner or representative person of the owner.
We ask you to call the owner or Novela Paris 3 days in advance, to organize an appointment with you.

What does the apartment rental price include ?
- Final travel documents will be provided when the rental is fully paid and will include individual apartment arrival details and support contact information in Paris.
- Free WiFi
- the initial sets of bed and bath linens for the number of persons occupying the apartment. Both the initial cleaning and preparation of the apartment as well as cleaning upon departure are included in the per night price. For bookings of 14 nights or longer, fresh linens and cleaning will be provided weekly, beginning with the second week of occupancy.
Extra linens and supplemental cleaning may be arranged as required with the Paris staff for a fee to be paid directly in euros in Paris.
Safety
According to an inspection and/or information supplied by property owners and/or agents, NovelaParis believes that the properties are safe for occupancy. However, no warranty of habitability or safety is made by NovelaParis. Renters are recommended to exercise reasonable caution.
